Historical Plaza

Designed by New York architect and Kennedy family friend, Phillip Johnson, the Kennedy Memorial, in the Dallas Historic District, resembles an open tomb.

John Neely Bryan Cabin
Description:
Dallas was born with the vision of John Neely Bryan, a Tennessee lawyer who settled in the area in 1841. He decided that this bluff overlooking the Trinity River would make an excellent inland river port.
